Goodwill Retail & Donation Center

I will give it a 2 for cleanliness but trying to find someone to open a dressing room is quite difficult. Once I find someone, she, Yaime, is someone who shouldn't work in a "customer service " setting. I had 2 question that I verbally asked her and she didnt even look up from her phone and when I asked if she heard me, she said no because she was on her phone. I wouldnt be writing this review about not being able to find someone or being on their phone but I am partially disabled and needed a little assistance and thats when I asked her those 2 questions when she didnt look up from her phone. Note to Goodwill: Hire people who want to work

Who ever is pricing these used stuff is forgetting the point of what is goodwill for . Forgetting that the founder created based on helping low income people. Forgetting the people that is donating the stuff is for the unfortunate people. Today I tried on a pretty Sandles which there was no price but I figure they will give me a price at the front desk. No problem. Unfortunately, when it was time to pay they were charging $70.00 I was stunned I said why? The cashier couldn’t believe either it was marked all over the sole with black marker he said I don’t believe this is the price let me ask the manager. Manager came back and said yes $70.00 it’s a Tory Burch I said who’s that? This is a used old Sandles and marked all over the sole 70.00 and 80.00 dollars all over it. Why is goodwill selling used , damaged donated stuff for $80.00 . Competing with the brand outlets???? Wow managers lost it self of why goodwill was founded and funded. Goodwill pricing department are over their heads. You are not helping people….. shame on you I told the manager to keep the Sandles and put it on a lock display with a price tag on it. If you guys value it that much!! Instead of damaging the Sandles with marker all under the sole! Manager said sorry it’s a Tory Burch I said sorry I don’t know her 🤷🏻‍♀️ SMH I don’t come to goodwill for brand names $80.00 Sandles for that I would go to the outlets and buy new ones, but I can’t afford the outlets. Goodwill don’t forget why you are there and for whom.
